Reading Response: Learning Not To Drown (Anna Shinoda)

Learning Not To Drown was a beautifully written page-turner where the main-character, Clare, discovers the roots of her family skeleton and learns to deal with her brother‘s true past. Since Clare was incredibly naïve in the beginning of the story, I loved how the author progressed her development and took you through her journey of figuring everything out for herself throughout the book. This led to me being completely amazed when Clare and I both discovered the truth about her brother, Luke’s, past. This component of the book, I think, is what made it a great read.
